Today's soundtrack: Computer Camp Love by Datarock -- because I'm shamelessly plugging a non-hockey geek project below. Hey, it's the middle of August, what else are you going to do?
Atlantic: Where has "hockey star" Mike Comrie gone?
Northeast: Frantisek Kaberle (the elder Kaberle, not the former Carolina Hurricane) gives unsolicited advice to Tomas Kaberle.
Southeast: More people have seen Scott Pilgrim vs. The World than bought Florida Panthers license plates.
Pacific: Speculation on how to fill out the Dallas Stars blueline.
Central: A better-conditioned Columbus Blue Jackets roster might create big dividends in the standings.
Northwest: Henrik Sedin, Daniel Sedin, Peter Forsberg, and Markus Naslund make pizza together. No word if Peter Forsberg got injured during the process.
Shameless plug: I've made my share of video game allusions in my time hockey blogging, so it was only natural that I got involved with a game site eventually. I'm part of the team that has launched Awesome Video Game News, a news aggregator for the game industry that focuses on pulling unique content (reviews, previews, features) rather than just re-hashing headlines. My best analogy is that it's a mash-up of Kukla's Korner and Metacritic for games. Please do check it out during our current public Beta.
