NY Rangers Charity Auction

I received notice of an upcoming online charity auction featuring some NY Rangers game-worn autographed jerseys.

Charitybuzz has partnered with the Garden of Dreams, and is auctioning off five game-worn, autographed New York Rangers jerseys.  These official jerseys, worn by Aaron Voros (#34), Colton Orr (#28), Markus Näslund (#91), Michael Rozsival (#33), and Petr Prucha (#25), were worn in the Feb. 22, 2009 game honoring the retirement of Andy Bathgate and Harry Howell’s jerseys.  Each jersey includes a patch commemorating Bathgate/Howell night, as well as a Certificate of Authenticity.  They are being auctioned off separately.

Garden of Dreams is a non-profit charity that works closely with all areas of Madison Square Garden, including the New York Knicks, Rangers, Liberty, MSG Media, MSG Entertainment and Fuse "to make dreams come true for kids in crisis."  In the three years since its inception, Garden of Dreams has worked tirelessly to fulfill its mission by creating unique and unforgettable events and activities – often involving unprecedented access to Madison Square Garden celebrities, events and venues – that have brightened the lives of thousands of special children and their families.

Ok, so it's not Mark Messier or Mike Richter, but it's for a good cause. Bidding ends on March 17. Check it out here for more information.
